'The Secrets of Mudge Bay', my soon to be published historical fiction, is based on the real life tragedy of Daniel Dodge

.

Daniel, the 21 year old heir to the Dodge Motor Company fortune, had access to $30,000.00 A MONTH in 1938.


His bride of 13 days from Manitoulin Island, was making $15 a week as a telephone operator, when Daniel mysteriously drowned in the North Channel of Georgian Bay.


There was just her and her friends in the boat with Daniel, at the time.
